The issue of Road Safety in Jamaica is serious and is an area that really requires more attention, not only in relation to surfacing of roads, which has been the main concern for our government it seems. But also some thought and attention needs to be given to educating and even re-training drivers to eliminate bad practices and habits. The largest numbers of fatalities in Jamaica are still caused by RTAs (Road Traffic Accidents).
